Nowadays, the nature of active species and role peroxydisulfate (PDS) was still unclear in advance oxidation systems based on activation PDS by CuO with non-radical pathway. In this paper, a sheet like containing two kinds Cu2+ prepared, one which electron deficient (Cu2+-h). The CuO/PDS system showed extraordinarily utilization (172.3%) for BPA degradation (after four cycles PDS). main mechanism dominated SO4•- not involved reaction. Cu2SO5 complex identified as species, originated from CuOx surface CuO.
